PROGRAM:
1. DAY: Airport Ljubljana – Škofja Loka – Kobarid

Arrival to Ljubljana International Airport, meet and welcome by Exoterra Adria representative/guide at the airport arrival lobby. Transfer from Airport to Kobarid (pick up on the other airports-at the extra charge).

On the way you will visit also city Škofja Loka, one of the oldest and most picturesque Slovene towns with a perfectly preserved medieval centre, the former estates of the bishops of Freising. Walk through the narrow streets and squares with most interesting architecture. Crossing the “Devils Bridge” over a wild section of the river Sora. The town boasts with numerous art galleries and workshops. Škofja Loka used to be the centre of numerous sophisticated handicrafts, of which a few have survived.

After sightseeing you will proceed to final destination- Kobarid, and accommodation in one of the private chalets in settlement Nebesa (Heaven), with breathtaking view on mountains and river Soča. Overnight.

2. & 3. DAY: Kobarid

You will have 2 free days for individual free time and relaxation.

We suggest you to spend the time in one of suggested activities (extra charge):

- Summer activities: hiking, rafting, cycling, fishing, canoing, paragliding, ...

- Winter activities: skiing, boarding, ...

- Tours: Sightseeing of Kranjska Gora, a renowned winter resort and ski center, but also a trekking and mountaineering paradise during the summer

a) Ride to pass Vršič, 1600 m high, from where we will be able to admire some of the highest mountain peaks of Slovenia. You can have also a snack in a cottage on the Vršič pass. 

b) Visit museum of the 1st world war: superb multivision presentation takes us many decades back to the battle fields of the Soča front where we can follow the touching story of an Italian soldier. The museum whose main message is the curse of any war was rewarded by the Council of Europe in 1993. 

c) Degustation of wine in wine region Goriška Brda 4.DAY: Kobarid – Ljubljana Airport Free time till departure to the airport. Transfer from chalet to the airport of Ljubljana (or to other airport at extra charge).
