In the southwestern part of Slovenia stretches a region called Kras (Karst). It is a land of rare beauty, secret underground waters and caves, special climate and scarce vegetation. And right there in a picturesque village of Lipica for more than 400 years beautiful, white horses called Lipizzaners have been bred. We invite you to join us to visit also the most beautiful and the oldest Slovenian coastal town Piran, where you can admire its charming Venetian architecture.

Program:
On this full day tour you will explore Slovenian karst region and our charm coast. First stop we will have in picturesque village of Lipica, where for more than 400 years, beautiful white horses called Lipizzaners have been bred. If you will want, a local guide can take you on a guided tour through the stables pointing out different methods of stages of breeding and training of these noble animals.
After that we will proceed to Slovenian charm coast and stop in oil factory to taste an olive oil.
After we will arrive in medieval town of Piran and take a walk around small picturesque city.
Afterwards you will be taken to Portorož, the most popular Slovene coastal resort, which you can discover during your free time. And also have plenty of time to take a swim in the Adriatic or have lunch in one of the numerous fresh fish restaurants.
On our back to Ljubljana we will stop also in typical wine cellar in Karst region and have a degustation of wine with dried ham (supplement).
