Bled is often mentioned as the pearl of the Alpine region. It`s major attractions are a lake of glacial origin with an island in the middle and a castle which history dates back to the 1th century.

Program

Bled is unique with its emerald-green lake, a church on the island in the middle of the lake and a medieval castle from the 11th century, perched on a cliff above the lake.

After arriving in Bled you will have more options how to spend your time:

• visit Bled castle on the hill with magnificent view on the lake

• take a boat tour by Bled's typical 'pletna' boat to the island

• take a coffee with tradition local sweet called kremšnita.
