PROGRAM:
1. DAY: Airport Ljubljana – Ljubljana city

Arrival to Ljubljana International Airport, meet and welcome by Exoterra Adria representative/guide at the airport arrival lobby. Transfer from Airport to Ljubljana city (pick up on the other airports-at the extra charge).

Accommodation in selected hotel and free time for relax and experience a little bit of the capital on your first evening in Slovenia. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Ljubljana.

2. DAY: Ljubljana

Breakfast at hotel. On your tour you will see most of the attractions in the city centre including the Parliament building, Republic square, Opera house, National Gallery, Orthodox Church, the Triple Bridge, Town Hall, Cathedral, open market, Prešeren square, Open Air theatre, Congress square, Cooperative Bank, Dragon bridge... The most distinctive feature of Slovenia 's largest city is its medieval hilltop Castle which offers a breathtaking panorama of the city together with excellent views of the old town and surrounding area, which you will admire also you…

Free afternoon at your own choice. We suggest you to board on the boat and have a relaxing drive along the river (supplement).

3. DAY: Ljubljana – Postojna – Lipica

  Breakfast at hotel. We will start our tour in the morning, when we will take you to the biggest and worldwide known Slovenian cave system - the Postojna caves. A two million years old and 21 km long system of subterranean caves is one of the most easily accessible network of underground caves in the world. A ride by electrical train will be followed by a guided walk through a series of cave halls with drop stones, pillars and translucent curtains that create unforgettable impressions. The underworld system is a home of the mysterious, unique and rare amphibian Proteus Anguinus, or human fish as it is popularly called here.

We will visit also one of the most interesting baroque castles of Slovenia, the Predjama castle, only 9 km away from Postojna cave. It hangs dramatically in the middle of 123 m high rocky cliff and offers a scenic view.

In the afternoon we will proceed to the Lipica, where you will be accommodated in hotel Maestoso. Free time for relax. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Lipica.

4. DAY – 6. DAY: Lipica - Golf holidays

You will have 3 full days for golf courses in Lipica. The golf course Lipica was built in 1989 in accordance with the designs of Donald Harradin, a worldwide known designer of golf courses. It is the only golf course in Slovenia which invites you to its greens throughout the whole year. It attracts Slovene golfers and many foreigner golfers, particularly from the neighbouring Italy, Croatia, Germany and Austria. Within the framework of golf services we offer you a variegated offer of package where you will certainly find something for yourself. Their partner golf courses are situated in the immediate vicinity in Italy and Croatia.

- Visit stud farm, one of the oldest stud farms in the world and home to the white Lipizzaner horses. The stud farm was also one of the sights visited by Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II during her stay in Slovenia. At the farm, its possible be able to attend training sessions of the classical Lipizzaner riding school and in also on special days its possible to see one of their elegant riding shows (Tuesday and Sunday).

- visit fascinating network of tunnels that make up the Škocjan Caves. The tunnels as well as one of the largest underground canyons in Europe were shaped by the Reka River winding through the karst landscape over centuries. The Škocjan Caves are a remarkable natural phenomenon whose global significance was recognized by their inclusion in UNESCO’s list of world cultural and natural heritage sites.

- Visit Slovenian coast: your first stopover point will be Socerb Castle, which affords marvellous views of the Slovenian coast. Next we will visit the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park, where you will get acquainted with the rich tradition of sea-salt harvesting in Slovenia. Afterwards we will visit the seaside holiday town of Portorož, where we will have lunch in local restaurant (supplement). Some free time for relax and then proceed to the picturesque coastal town of Piran, and finish with sightseeing of the old city centre of Koper, remarkable for its Venetian-style architecture.

7.DAY: Lipica – Ljubljana Airport

Breakfast in hotel. Free time till departure. Transfer from hotel to the airport of Ljubljana (or to other airport at extra charge).
