PROGRAM

1. DAY: Airport Ljubljana – Ljubljana city

Arrival to Ljubljana International Airport, meet and welcome by Exoterra Adria representative/guide at the airport arrival lobby. Transfer from Airport to Ljubljana city (pick up on the other airports-at the extra charge).

Accommodation in selected hotel and free time for relax and experience a little bit of the capital on your first evening in Slovenia. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Ljubljana.

2. DAY: Ljubljana

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning you will explore the capital city Ljubljana with local guide. You will ride the funicular to the Ljubljana Castle (the grand castle overlooking the city). On the back to the city you could ride the touristic train which will take you to the city centre, where you could explore few interesting things of Ljubljana, including dragon Bridge, Triple Bridge and walk a long the banks of the Ljubljanica. You can also board on the boat and have a relaxing drive along the river (optional).

After city tour you will have free time for lunch (supplement) and free late afternoon at your own choice. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Ljubljana.

3. DAY: Ljubljana – Lipica – Škocjan – Ljubljana

Breakfast at hotel. The first part of our trip will take us to the Lipica stud farm, one of the oldest stud farms in the world and home to the white Lipizzaner horses. The stud farm was also one of the sights visited by Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II during her stay in Slovenia. At the farm, its possible be able to attend training sessions of the classical Lipizzaner riding school and in also on special days its possible to see one of their elegant riding shows (Tuesday and Sunday).

After that, we will descend into the fascinating network of tunnels that make up the Škocjan Caves. The tunnels as well as one of the largest underground canyons in Europe were shaped by the Reka River winding through the karst landscape over centuries. The Škocjan Caves are a remarkable natural phenomenon whose global significance was recognized by their inclusion in UNESCO’s list of world cultural and natural heritage sites.

We finish the tour in one of typical Karst WINE CELLARS with wine and the famous Karst dried ham tasting. Return to Ljubljana. Free evening.

4. DAY: Ljubljana – Bled – Bohinj

Breakfast at hotel. We will start our tour in the morning with transfer from Ljubljana to famous Bled's Lake, where we will visit Bled Castle and enjoy beautiful panoramic view of Bled lake. In Bled you can try famous sweet “kremšnita”, well known as a vanilla-and-cream cake served as a local speciality. In summer time you can take also a boat ride to the island in the middle of the lake (supplement).

In the afternoon you will be transferred to the luxury first ecological hotel in Slovenia, near the largest glacier lake in Slovenia- Bohinj Lake, situated in the region of the Julian Alps mountain range, with the highest Slovene peak (Mt.Triglav) rising above it.

After arriving, check-in in hotel and free time for relax. Dinner and overnight in hotel. Selected hotel: Hotel Eko Park Bohinj 5*

5. -6. DAY: Bohinj - Holidays

Breakfast at hotel. You will have 2 full days which you can spend on your own choice.

The Hotel Park Bohinj has a lot of choice to spend your free time there:

- enjoy an exclusive wellness and spa area on the top floor of the Bohinj Park

- or outdoor and an indoor swimming pool with comfortable deck chairs, hydro beds, a sun-bathing terrace, saunas and a beauty treatment area.

- Guests of the hotel benefit from free admission to the Aquapark Bohinj

- In the evening you can also play a bowling in hotel`s own bowling center

We suggest you few winter activities:

- Night tobogganing from Vogar, where is the largest toboggan run in Slovenia. Off-road vehicles will take you to the starting point where you will get some of the necessary equipment (a toboggan and a headlamp) and all the necessary directions. After the descent, you will be served with tea or mulled wine.

- Skiing or snowboarding in Vogel: The lengthy natural conditions of Vogel make it first place among Slovene ski resorts for reliable snow conditions. Because Vogel lies on the first mountain barrier above the Adriatic Sea, substantially more snow falls here than anywhere else of similar altitude in the Alps. The high mountain setting and the extraordinary panoramas over the surrounding area - the ski center lies in Triglav National Park above Lake Bohinj and gives Vogel a special attraction. In spite of its majestic setting, the ski center is suitable for all skill levels.

- Snowshoeing in Triglav National Park: Our snowshoeing expeditions offer you the chance to go where others cannot in the winter. This is a fun activity for everyone with many possible routes in Triglav National Park, including: a two hour taster; a full day in the mountains Snowshoeing is suitable for all of the family and an excellent way to spend time in the winter.

- Kranjska Gora Eskimo expirience Eskimo adventure is a great way to spend your afternoon. The adventure begins with snowshoeing where a guide takes you across the slopes to the igloo village. On arrival at the igloo village you will be served with our official welcome drink the Eskimo and a snack – sausage with horseradish. After the refreshments we will give you a tour of the igloo village. To make the adventure a perfect event, you will leave the igloo village on snowshoes!

Note: The program is carried out on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 16.30h and at 20.00h Extra: For children ages 4 to 10yrs we offer skiing/child care with the mascot of the Igloo village, the Eskimo! Twice a day (12noon and 2pm) you can bring your kid/kids to the meeting point at the ski school behind Hotel Larix and the Eskimo will take the group (max 25 kids) skiing, give the kids a tour of the Igloo village with a snack of tea and cookies.

7.DAY: Bohinj – Ljubljana Airport

Breakfast in hotel. Free time till departure. Transfer from hotel to the airport of Ljubljana (or to other airport at extra charge). End of services.
