Slovenia has dozens of great ski centres with lifts. The best known ski centre is Kranjska Gora, which hosts an annual World Cup men's downhill competition. The larger ski centres also maintain trails for snowboarding, sledding and cross-country skiing. You can even try snowmobile rides, which are possible in Kranjska Gora, Pohorje, Pokljuka and Krvavec. In some places, tourist rides are offered on dog sleds and horse-drawn sleighs. We recommend you also unforgettable night tobogganing or interesting snowhoe walking or adrenaline snow rafting.
