Slovenia is a wonderful place for cycling; there are cycling paths short and long for tours of varying difficulties. Cycling maps of Slovenia and individual areas are available from tourist information centres in the cities and towns. There has also been an increase in possibilities for mountain cycling. Mountain bikes are available to rent in lots of places and are a great way to get around. Note that bikes are banned from the paths of the Triglav National Park.
