PROGRAM:

1. DAY: AIRPORT – LJUBLJANA

Arrival to Ljubljana International Airport, meet and welcome by Exoterra Adria representative/guide at the airport arrival lobby. Transfer from Airport Ljubljana to Ljubljana city (pick up on the other airports-at the extra charge). Accommodation in selected hotel and free time for relax and experience a little bit of the capital on your first evening in Slovenia. Overnight in hotel in Ljubljana.

2. DAY: LJUBLJANA – NOVO MESTO – OTOČEC – ČATEŽ

Breakfast at hotel. Drive towards picturesque town Novo mesto, where we stop for a short walk tour around old town centre. We continue the journey over Dolenjska region and stop at famous and very beautiful castle Otočec, situated in the middle of Krka river, for photo stop and possible lunch (supplement). After lunch, drive to Čatež spa resort and afternoon at leisure. Possibility of using different spa facilities or just swim in numerous mineral water swimming pools with artificial waves, waterfalls etc. Optional supplement: dinner at sofisticated restaurant in castle Mokrice. Overnight in hotel in Čatež.

3. DAY: ČATEŽ – OLIMJE – PTUJ – JERUZALEM – MARIBOR

Breakfast at hotel. From Čatež we drive throug Bizeljsko region towards Olimje monastery to visit one of the oldest pharmacy in Europe. Drive via Rogaška Slatina, one of the oldest spa resorts in Europe famous for its glass industry, and continue towards Ptuj the oldest and one of most beautiful towns in Slovenia. Walk through the old part and light climb to the dominating castle above the old town. After the visit drive to wine growing area around the town called Jeruzalem, where we stop for late lunch (supplement) and wine tasting. Then drive to Maribor and free time for relax or short evening walk around the city center. Overnight in hotel in Maribor.

4. DAY: MARIBOR – BLED

Breakfast at hotel. Walk around second biggest town Maribor (which was in 2012 European Capital of Culture), also famous for its, over 400 years old vine, and its beautiful Lent along Drava river. Lunch in Maribor (supplement) and drive to an Alpine pearl resort Bled. First we will visit Bled Castle and enjoy beautiful panoramic view of Bled lake. You can take also visit the castle museum, herbal shop, printing shop etc. After that we will go close to lake Bled and take a relaxing walk. At extra charge you could board traditional pletna boat and ride to the Bled Island, where you can visit Church of St. Mary and ring its bell for good luck (supplement). Try also one of the typical dishes in Bled – famous sweet kremšnita, well known as a vanilla-and-cream cake served as a local specialty. Check in to the hotel and free evening. Overnight in hotel in Bled.

5. DAY: BLED VINTGAR – BOHINJ – BLED

Breakfast at hotel. After the breakfast will follow visit of gorge Vintgar, carved into the rocks by river Radovna. Afterwards we continue towards Bohinj, another alpine lake, where you will be taken with a cable car to the mountain Vogel for some fantastic panoramic views over Julian Alps. We recommend having lunch on the mountain. Return to Bled and free time for individual walks around charming lake. Optional supplement: In the evening visit of another medieval town Radovljica for typical Slovenian dinner. Overnight in hotel in Bled.

6. DAY: BLED – POSTOJNA – PIRAN – PORTOROŽ

Breakfast at hotel. Drive past Ljubljana and visit the biggest cave in Slovenia and one of the biggest in the world, the 21 kilometers long Postojna cave to discover the underground world of stalagmites and stalactites. After the visit of the cave, drive to Slovenian coast to visit a romantic old town of Piran built in a typical Venetian style. Sightseeing of Piran from where you will head to Portorož to the hotel to take some free time, maybe for a walk around the coast. Optional supplement: evening farewell dinner in a fine seafood restaurant. Overnight in hotel in Slovenian coast.

7. DAY: PORTOROŽ – LJUBLJANA – AIRPORT

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer from Portorož to Ljubljana city, where you will explore the most of the attractions in the city centre including the Triple Bridge, Town Hall, Cathedral, open market, Prešeren square, Congress square, Dragon bridge... The most distinctive feature of Slovenia 's largest city is its medieval hilltop Castle which offers a breathtaking panorama of the city together with excellent views of the old town and surrounding area, which you will admire also you… After sightseeing you will have free time for relax, shopping or lunch in local restaurant (supplement). In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport of Ljubljana (or any other airport at extra charge).

Vintgar Gorge is opened from the middle of April till October. During November and Marc we will pay you kremšnita cake on Bled (instead of entrance fee to Vintgar Gorge).

Cancellation Charges: 

7 days or less - 100% cancellation charge.  Between 8 days and 14 days - 50% cancellation charges or the equivalent of the first two days 

charges depending on the program and period of stay. 

Hotel rules and regulations: 

The official check-in time at all hotels will be 1400hrs. 

The official check-out time at all hotels will be 1100hrs. 

Cancellation policy will be applicable for any reduction of rooms after the release period.
