The Pule Estate sits in a remote meadow in the middle of the hilly Dolenjska countryside, far from just about everything. All around there are old beech woods stretching into the lazy, hazy distance, while the panorama of mountains still further away provides a perfect backdrop. The five chalets are built with traditional local materials... plus oodles of glass. The view from the lounge is through a huge window, with a lovely open firplace in the middle. They're filled with some very beautiful furniture - much of which is either authentically original, or specially commissioned - plus flat TVs and all that modern stuff. Each chalet has a terrace, with sun loungers and seating.

The Sun House: a beautifully designed boutique hotel in the north eastern region of Prlekija. There are just five suites, each of which is individually designed.
